ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Memphis, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work 36 or 48-hour shifts with schedule determined during interview process • Patient ratios of 1:4/5 for days, nights, and weekends • On-call shifts as needed • Weekend coverage required as needed • Float to like units and campuses within 20 miles when necessary • 2 years of nursing experience required (3 years preferred) • Level I Trauma experience required • Travel experience required - at least 1 completed previous travel assignment • Large hospital experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Skills needed: Telemetry, IV Start • Active RN license in state or compact license required • Cerner experience preferred • ADN acceptable (BSN not required for this position) • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Must work 2 of 3 holidays if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years fall during assignment • Must live at least 100 miles from facility to qualify • First-time travelers not accepted Facility: This major healthcare organization operates as a Level I Trauma Center providing short-term acute care services. The cardiac stepdown unit is a multidisciplinary care unit with 48 private beds equipped for bedside and telemetry monitoring. The unit provides close observation for patients with cardiac, pulmonary, and other disease processes requiring more intensive care than regular medical/surgical units but less than intensive care. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.
