Job Description:
Acute Care Surgery opening in Memphis, TN - Full Time; Permanent
- Employed Overview - We are in the process of growing our Acute
Care Surgery service team to continue providing the highest level
of specialty care available to the region - Join our 5 Acute Care
Surgeons and a highly trained, committed support staff - Primary
facility: 700 bed tertiary referral center for our 26-hospital
system) - Dedicated OR Access - Incredibly diverse pathology -
Minimal Trauma (Polytrauma is covered by Level 1 Trauma Center in
downtown Memphis) - When fully staffed, our group operates on a
balanced schedule designed to support clinical excellence and
physician well-being - 7 (24-hour call shifts per month);
reimbursement for extra call taken - Rounding and outpatient clinic
- Minimum of 9 consecutive days off per physician every month -
Great sub-specialty support - The health system has a general
surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach - Great
collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team - As
a not-for-profit system, the helath system qualifies for Public
Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Compensation: - Base Salary:
$450,000 with the potential for additional earnings through
optional extra shifts - $30,000 sign on bonus annual quality bonus
