clients.Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Professional Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate
will have 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong background
in site design, pipelines, and subdivision projects. A Professional
Engineer (PE) certification is required for this role. The ideal
candidate will have a demonstrated ability to independently manage
projects, lead meetings with clients, and effectively transition
from client interactions to design implementation. Additionally,
candidates with business development skills will be given
preference, as there are opportunities for growth into partnership
within the company.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee civil engineering projects from conception
to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets,
and quality standards.
- Lead client meetings and maintain regular communication with
clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess
project requirements and constraints.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and
specifications using appropriate software and tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and regulatory
agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers
and support staff as needed.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing
clients while actively pursuing opportunities for business
development and growth.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
- 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on
site design, pipelines, and subdivision projects.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to
independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and
stakeholders.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD,
Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
- Business development skills and experience are a plus.Benefits:
