Registered Registration Clerk (PRN) We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PRN Registration Clerk to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate patient information management. Key Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner - Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information - Register patients into the hospital or clinic’s electronic health record system accurately and efficiently - Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendars - Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow - Handle inquiries and direct patients to appropriate departments as needed - Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management Join our team and be part of a supportive, patient-centered environment that values growth and professional development. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications preferred - Prior experience in medical or healthcare registration is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion - Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite - Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) schedule, including evenings and weekends if required - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask
