Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Aircraft Equipment
Expediter 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be located in Iuka, MS. The shift for this
position is B-Shift Monday - Thursday from 5:30pm to 3:00am.
Responsible for the survey, control, dispatching, and follow-up of
all types of tools pertaining to an assigned department or section
of an aircraft, from control points, critical zones, and / or
central control areas. Tools are in support of ground support and
tooling efforts to allow for aircraft testing, launch and recovery
efforts and system test equipment operations. Operate industrial
equipment such as fork trucks, lift gates, tow tractors and hand
trucks in the safe movement of equipment up to 9 tons. Anticipate
and verify shortages and affix priorities to tool and equipment
dispatch. Expedite to final destination by coordinating with
requesting department (Engineering, Operations, Tooling, Planning,
Material Control, etc.). Update equipment locations with SAP-4 and
comply with all FAR requirements. Basic Qualifications: High School
Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Aircraft
Manufacturing environment. Active DOD Secret Clearance Ability to
obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) Experience with
functional testing of standard pneumatic power tools and standard
shop equipment Ability to survey, control, dispatch and follow-up
of all types of tools pertaining to an assigned department
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to collaborate with
multiple levels in a team environment Ability to lift over 50 Lbs
Preferred Qualifications: Active DOD Secret Clearance with
investigation within past 6 years Active STRIKE Program Access
Experience in operating machinery, such as forklift, scissor lift,
boom lift and overhead cranes Primary Level Salary Range:
$38,600.00 - $64,400.00 The above salary range represents a general
guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors
when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
