Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a local contract nurse RN School RN Level I for a local contract nursing job in Batesville, Mississippi. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: School RN - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 3 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Position: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) Start Date: July 1 2025, or upon DOL approval Contract Length: 3 weeks Hours per Week: Up to 40 hours per week Job Responsibilities: - Participate in the medical examination of students. - Perform specimen (blood and urine) collection as needed (phlebotomy). - Screen patients and refer them to the Center Physician, Health and Wellness Manager, or Center Mental Health. - Observe, record, and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and behaviors. - Perform first aid treatment as needed. - Assist the physician with patient examinations and prepare patients for tests and procedures. - Provide guidance to students regarding personal hygiene. - Prepare and administer prescribed medications as directed. - Maintain medical equipment and manage the inventory of supplies and medications. - Maintain accurate medical records. - Promote health and safety initiatives throughout the Center.
