submittal Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of
2 years of recent medical-surgical experience - Experience in large
hospital settings - Level 1 trauma experience - Patient-to-nurse
ratio of 1:7, utilizing team nursing - Must reside at least 100
miles from the facility Description: This position is for a
registered nurse specializing in medical surgical care with a focus
on neuro patients. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of
medical-surgical nursing experience. Travel experience is required,
preferably with at least one completed travel assignment.
Experience in a level 1 trauma setting is desirable. The candidate
will care for adults and geriatric patients with a daily census of
approximately 46. The unit consists of 48 beds and offers
interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and
respiratory services. Registered nurses may be floated between like
units and campuses within a 20-mile radius. Candidates should be
prepared to work during major holidays, specifically Thanksgiving,
Christmas, and New Year’s if they fall within the assignment. All
required certifications must be active and must include plans for
renewal if they are set to expire during the assignment.
