Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is
seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in a
100-bed post-acute facility, requiring a MS or compact RN license
and prior LTAC experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a
100-bed long-term acute care facility - Patient population includes
geriatric, short-term, post-acute, and tracheostomy patients -
Nurse to patient ratio is 1:20 with nurse practitioner support on
site weekdays - Day shifts are 12 hours, with a rotating schedule
including some weekends - Provide care for geriatric and post-acute
patients, including those with tracheostomies - Work as part of a
team with a nurse practitioner on duty during weekdays and strong
ancillary support - Weekend rotation is required as part of the
regular schedule - Scrubs or dress code requirements are not
specified /n /n Requirements/n - Active RN license in Mississippi
or compact state required - Minimum two years of LTAC nursing
experience required - Prior travel nursing experience is required,
but strong first-time travelers may be considered - Current BLS
(AHA) certification required; ACLS preferred - Experience in
facilities with 400 beds or Level 2 trauma exposure is strongly
