Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care at our post-acute care facilities. As a pivotal part of our patient-centric rehabilitation team, the LPN will work in a dynamic environment to deliver high quality, integrated care focusing on patient rehabilitation and recovery. This role requires a compassionate individual committed to the health and wellness of patients, ensuring their recovery process is both comfortable and effective. Provide basic medical care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. Monitor patient health and vital signs, and report any changes to the supervising medical practitioner. Administer medications, change dressings, and attend to patient hygiene. Assist with patient rehabilitation and recovery routines as directed by medical professionals. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and post-acute care procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Proficiency in handling medical equipment and tools Knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols in healthcare settings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
