Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care in a patient-focused environment. Our LPNs play a critical role in the rehabilitation process, aiding in the recovery and enhancing the quality of life of our patients. This position involves working closely with patients who are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic conditions, ensuring their treatment protocols are effectively administered and monitored. Monitor patient health and maintain accurate health records. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals. Provide patient care, emotional and physical support to patients and their families. Assist in the implementation of patient care plans. Work collaboratively with RNs and other healthcare personnel to ensure optimal patient care. Educate patients and families on health care needs, conditions, and options. Proficient in basic nursing procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well in a team Detailed record keeping and documentation Understanding of patient handling techniques Compliance with healthcare safety protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid LPN license in the state of employment CPR certified
