Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a vital member of our nursing team, the LPN will assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patients Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques Prepare patients and assist with patient examinations and therapies Advocate for patients’ needs and effectively communicate with doctors and other healthcare providers Assist in the implementation and planning of patient care Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-treatment care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical software and tools Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Capability to perform tasks with precision and empathy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN or LVN license CPR certification
