Job Description Job Description The Front Desk Agent is
responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the
first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay
which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties
in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core
values. Compensation: $13 - $15 hourly Responsibilities: Greet
guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the
reason for their visit and manage the registration process Handle
guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy.
Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and
transfer calls Take reservations in person, via email, or over the
phone, including group bookings. Balance cash at the end of the
shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next
shift Contact housekeeping and/or maintenance departments when a
problem is reported and perform basic maintenance so as to minimize
out of order rooms Answer queries regarding the hotel’s services,
charges, dining facilities, sports facilities, and travel
directions Qualifications: Experience in hospitality or customer
service is preferred but not required. Reasonable accommodations
may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the
essential functions. Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft
Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong customer service skills
with a guest-focused approach. Availability to work flexible
schedules, including weekends and holidays. Physical ability to
stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. About Company At
